As the oldest African-American neighborhood in North Memphis (est. 1899), Klondike was named after the Alaskan Gold Rush due to the opportunity for African-Americans to own their own homes.  Today, there are still great opportunities as well as many challenges.  Our aim is to connect, collaborate, and all be changed together as we seek new opportunities to flourish.
